Sebira Island Citizen Requests Regency Government to Manage RO Immediately

Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village citizen wants Seribu Island Administration Regency Government to take over reverse osmosis (RO) asset management for clean water. It is because the operational cost is quite expensive and hard to be fulfilled by citizen.

Actually citizen already mailed us with copy to regent too, asking to take over it immediately because the maintenance cost  is expensive but fund box operational income just small

"Actually, citizen already mailed us with copy to regent too, asking to take over it immediately because the maintenance cost is expensive but fund box operational income is low," said Murta'a, Head of Harapan Island Urban Village, Seribu Islands, Wednesday (2/22).

According to him, income from the box just Rp 200-300 thousands per month is not enough to buy filter which price is expensive enough.

"But for now, citizen still can use filtered water from it. It is safe for consumption," he closed.

Related to this, Seribu Islands Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Mustajab, said his side is ready to receive the asset. Just waiting for administration process from Seribu Islands Regency Regional Asset Management Office.

"Just waiting for its administration," he closed.
